Shoaib Khan started Homsofadecor to bring craftsperson-direct sofa-making to Bengaluru homes. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in upholstery and custom furniture - working alongside frame carpenters, foam cutters, and master upholsterers - Shoaib personally oversees design and quality control at the HBR Layout workshop.
Design philosophy
"A sofa is a 10-year purchase. It deserves more thought than five minutes in a showroom. What looks good at delivery should still feel good after a thousand evenings." Shoaib's philosophy is built on three convictions:
- Honest materials. Kiln-dried hardwood, named foam density, named fabric grade. No hidden particle board, no mystery cushioning.
- Made to fit, not made to stock. Every sofa is sized to the room, not the warehouse.
- Direct relationships. No franchise layer between buyer and maker means honest quotes and lifetime serviceability.
What makes a Homsofadecor sofa different
Shoaib personally signs off the spec on every order above ₹40,000, walks the workshop floor every day, and is reachable on WhatsApp for any post-delivery issue. The workshop deliberately runs at a scale where no order is "just another job", while still buying premium materials in enough volume to keep them affordable.
